Last day in LA

Time to go home! Flying from LAX tomorrow . Right now I am waiting on the Universal Studios bus, gonna spend the whole day there, cant wait!

Yesterday I spend surfing in La Jolla in San Diego it was absolutely brilliant! I am going to miss those nice beaches and warm weather.

San Diego was really nice, I am definitely going back there! I stayed at a hostel in Ocean Beach, a hippie neighbourhood, it was awesome.

LA

Hi' folks, I made it to LA now after a couple of days in Vegas without loosing to much money. I'm staying at a hostel on Venice Beach. Spent the day at Santa Monica beach, really nice. Tonight there's a free concert in Santa Monica.

Staying here one more day and then going to San Diego before coming back to LA.

Yosemite

We made it to Yosemite now. Stayed one night at a really neat hostel in Merced, Cal. It was an older couple who had two dorms in their house. Really nice people. Unfortunately we didn't have time to check out Merced. We arrived really late, after a long drive from San Fran. (and hung over from a pub crawl) Doing some stops on the way, The Great Mall! F... what a place, huge mall, really cheap.

Today we spent the day driving to Yosemite and checking out the park. We're only here for one night. Again staying in a really nice hostel right out side of the park. Beautiful place, the scenery is unbelievable!

Tomorrow we have a very very long drive to Grand Canyon. So we're getting up early. Driving through Yosemite Park, Death Vallay, Las Vegas. Staying in Grand Canyon for two nights, then driving back to Vegas for two nights. Then LA, San Diego and back to LA again. Wow...

Banden, The Red Woods and San Francisco.

Hi' all. Some news here. We made it down to Frisco in one piece.

We left Seaside and drove south to a small town called Banden on the Oregon coast. According to my Lonely Planet book, it's a jewel on the Oregon coast... We went to a bar, was there for like half an hour and there was a fight! It was Karaoke Night, the bar was filled with red necks, pretty funny.

We stayed at The Red Woods Park just across the cali/oregon state border. It was abselutely awesome! Those red woods are huge! We stayed there for two days, really nice hostel, right on the coast. Nice hiking there.

The other night we stayed at a motel in Point Arena. A small town on the California coast. Went to see the Michael Moore movie Sicko, funny stuff when your in an American cinema. I'm glad I'm Danish!

Last night we stayed at a hostel at Point Reyesm just north of San Fran. Really nice place a little to quiet though.

Now we're in Frisco, toke a guided tour of China Town today. We're staying three night in an abselutely awesome hostel. An old hotel turned into a hostel. Tomorrow we want to go to Alcatraz, but it's gonna be difficult getting tickets. We should have booked weeks ago.

Now I'm out of internet time. I'll try to find a propper internet cafe and upload some photos.
